One of the main things that Windows Phone 7 has gotten knocked for is the lack of multitasking for 3rd party applications. The big news of the day is that Microsoft has committed to deliver multitasking support for Windows Telephone 7 during the 2022 agenda year.

During the keynote, Microsoft's Joe Belfiore demonstrated how multitasking would work. Function of the multitasking interface is seamless.
