ExpressVPN launches Lightway protocol to improve performance and reliability

ExpressVPN, i of the best Windows x VPNs, merely fully launched Lightway, its ain VPN protocol. With the new protocol in place, ExpressVPN promises faster speeds, improved reliability, and quicker connections. Lightway is bachelor on all platforms supported by ExpressVPN, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and routers.

Compared to older protocols on average, in its beta testing, ExpressVPN found that Lightway:

Cure53 performed a penetration test and source lawmaking audit of Lightway in March 2022. It found 14 security-relevant findings, though none of them were classified as "critical." ExpressVPN addressed the findings, and Cure53 verified the work in June 2022.
